Drinking a lot of water and fluids may not be good for you. Here is another tip that is generally a great health tip that you may need to avoid.

Are you a person who suffers from congestive heart failure? Do you have kidney disease? In these disease processes, the body may have deteriorated too much. If this is the case, drinking too much water will over load the body.

In congestive heart failure, the heart isn’t able to pump the blood well enough. The ventricles or the lower chambers may have become boggy. It is like a flabby muscle. It can be the result of a heart attack. Cardiomyopathy is a disease process that causes the heart muscle to become weak. Ineffective contractions result and the heart can no longer pump well. You may be on medications like digoxin (lanoxin) that help the heart muscle have a stronger contraction. You may be on lasix or another diuretic to help you remove excess fluid. It makes it easier for the heart to work. You will probably be on a fluid restriction and a salt restriction.

If your kidneys are failing, you are not removing waste from the blood stream. This will effect about every system in the body. You may need to restrict your fluids and salt.

If you are relatively healthy, drink water. You need at least eight 8 ounce glasses of water per day. The body needs this for all processes of living, including removing toxins.
