It is hard to stay on you diet. We have temptation all over the place. How do you stay on your healthy eating plan?

How do you deal with being hungry? We are going to get hunger, for sure. That is the body telling us it is time to eat. It can also be habit or low blood sugar.

The best way to deal with hungry is to be ready for it. Be Prepared! That is one of the Girl/Boy Scout motto.

Here are some tricks to keep hunger at bay. Eat small frequent meals. Prevention Magazine frequently talks about eating four 4oo calorie meals. That is 1600 calories per day. You can add two small snacks of 100-200 calories. This will bring you up to 1800-2000 calories per day. Eating every few hours keeps your blood sugar more level. You will not have the cravings and hunger.

Eating frequently helps to boost your metabolis,m. It will make it easier to lose and maintain your weight loss.

Did you know that our current portion sizes are much bigger that they where 20-30 years ago? It could be the reason we are struggling with weight in this country.
