Health tips to avoid? Well, I would like you to include all your activity in you exercise plan.

Every thing you do counts towards your exercise goal. Standing to iron will burn more calories, and weeding is great toning. Walking up and down stairs count. Also parking your car in the farthest spot and walking counts. It all counts. The more active you are the better.

Just remember these exercise  won’t help you prevent a heart attack. For  heart protection you need aerobic exercise. You need to get your heart rate up between 60-80% of your maximum heart rate.

Your max heart rate is about 220 – your age. So a 50 year old women’s max heart rate is about 170 (220-50 = 170).  She should work in a heart rate zone of 102 to 136 beats per minute. Ideally you would keep that heart rate up for 20 minutes.

Remember to get at least 2 hours of aerobic exercise a week.
